Speaking on the sidelines of a session of the Parliament’s Budget and Planning Committee, Paknejad pointed to the Azadegan oil field as one of the country’s largest shared fields, saying its development has long lagged behind due to funding challenges.
“Now the conditions are in place to accelerate the development of this field,” he said, adding that similar opportunities exist for other joint fields as well.
The minister stressed the importance of removing financial obstacles, expressing hope that addressing key investment barriers will further boost the pace of development.
