Mobile desalting unit lifts production limits at Cheshmeh-Khosh field

SHANA (Tehran) — The launch of a mobile desalting unit at the Cheshmeh-Khosh oil field has removed production restrictions and marked a major step in cooperation with the National Iranian Oil Company, according to the head of ZN Vostok.

Azamat Ismagilov, CEO of ZN Vostok, said Wednesday that the project demonstrates the value of close collaboration with the National Iranian Oil Co. and the Oil Industries Engineering and Construction Co. “Our main effort in recent years has been to deliver the best performance, and this close partnership has brought significant achievements,” he said at the inauguration ceremony in Ilam.

Ismagilov noted that surface facility challenges were among the company’s key obstacles. “With the tireless efforts of colleagues and the support of officials, we overcame those difficulties, and today we have reached production of 114,000 barrels per day,” he said.

He emphasized the need to expand processing capacity at Cheshmeh-Khosh, pointing to the mobile desalting unit as an essential requirement that was successfully commissioned through joint efforts by contractors and client companies.

Ismagilov thanked Iranian partners and contractors, saying the achievement was the result of solidarity and teamwork. “We hope this cooperation will continue in the future,” he said.
