NIOC CEO stresses winter gas production plans

SHANA (Tehran) – The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company emphasized the necessity of revising overhaul plans and focusing on sustainable and maximum gas production for the winter season.

According to a report from the National Iranian Oil Company, Hamid Bovard stated on Monday, during a trip to Asaluyeh that these visits are conducted regularly. He said today provided an opportunity to appreciate the efforts and dedication of oil industry personnel, especially during the 12-day war.

He added that during this trip, in addition to reviewing and adjusting upcoming overhaul plans, planning for maximum gas production in winter and the execution of public projects in the region were also on the agenda.

The CEO of the NIOC noted that during the visit to Phase 14 and the meetings held, the reports presented were satisfactory, and it was decided that the details of the requests would be reviewed and followed up.

Bovard stated that there is coordination between Pars Oil and Gas Company, the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone, the National Petrochemical Company, and the National Iranian Gas Company in the Asaluyeh region. One of the goals of the meetings during this trip was to strengthen this synergy and enhance the level of cooperation.
