From August 23 to 29, gas deliveries included over 2 billion cubic meters to power plants, 1.16 billion cubic meters to major industries, and 1.15 billion cubic meters to the residential and commercial sectors, according to official figures.
Daily data show power plants consistently led gas demand. On August 23, they used 289 million cubic meters, compared with 164 million for industries and 167 million for households and businesses. By August 29, consumption slightly declined to 285 million cubic meters for power plants, 162 million for industries, and 161 million for households and businesses.
Overall, daily consumption across the three main sectors ranged between 610 million and 634 million cubic meters during the week.
The figures confirm power plants remain the largest consumers of gas, while industries and households showed smaller but fluctuating demand. Officials emphasized the importance of consumption management and cross-sector coordination to ensure stability in the national gas network.
