Fuel station inspections show no signs of water mixed with gasoline

SHANA (Tehran) – Iran’s oil minister emphasized that periodic and regular inspections of fuel stations by the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) have found no evidence of water mixed in gasoline. He added that no consumer complaints have been received regarding the issue.

Mohsen Paknejad said Sunday on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting that routine inspections of fuel stations across the country have not indicated any gasoline contaminated with water.

Stressing that water cannot mix with gasoline, Paknejad noted that field investigations revealed no reports of such issues from vehicles refueling at the stations.
