Oil industry staff at the forefront of Iran’s economic resilience

SHANA (Tehran) – A member of the Iranian Parliament's Energy Committee praised oil industry workers for their unwavering efforts to protect vital energy infrastructure and maintain uninterrupted production during the 12-day war, calling it a testament to their deep commitment to the country and the Islamic Republic.

Esmaeil Hosseini highlighted the indispensable role of oil, gas, petrochemical, water, and electricity industry workers, stating that engineers, managers, and employees in these sectors are invaluable assets of the Islamic Republic. He said their dedication and national pride play a crucial role in safeguarding Iran’s economic independence and ensuring stable energy supply. 

Hosseini also commended the ministers of oil and energy, as well as the executives of affiliated companies, for their leadership and sacrifices during the conflict. He emphasized that their round-the-clock efforts to protect critical energy facilities and sustain production amid war and threats demonstrated their profound love and loyalty to Iran and its political system, proving that these workers remain at the forefront of the nation’s economic resilience. 

The lawmaker warned that enemies would not hesitate to strike if they perceive an opportunity to harm Iran. He urged the oil and energy ministries to maintain the highest level of preparedness in forecasting, prevention, response, and infrastructure repair to minimize vulnerabilities in the energy sector. 

Hosseini concluded by praying for the health, dignity, and continued success of energy sector workers. He expressed hope that, through their determination, Iran’s energy industry would remain the driving force of the national economy and a symbol of the Islamic Republic’s progress and strength.
