Hadi Chabok stated that, thanks to the round-the-clock efforts of specialists and staff at the eighth South Pars refinery, more than 17 mcm of sweetened gas were transferred to the national pipeline in 1403. He added that during the same period, over 19 million barrels of gas condensates were also produced at the refinery.
Emphasizing the South Pars gas complex’s reliance on skilled and dedicated personnel, Chabok said the facility plays a key role in sustainable development and national energy security through advanced technologies. Last year, the eighth refinery produced more than 48,000 tons of butane, 630,000 tons of propane and 353,000 tons of ethane, significantly contributing to the country’s economic growth.
Highlighting the outstanding performance of South Pars refineries during last winter, Chabok noted that despite unprecedented cold weather and a sharp rise in gas demand, staff and specialists across the complex achieved remarkable success, ensuring comfort for citizens.
He expressed hope that this year, under the slogan "Investment for Production," further achievements will be made.
