Gas transmission reliability depends on regular maintenance

SHANA (Tehran) – The CEO of Iran Gas Transmission Company emphasized the importance of timely and precise maintenance programs for pipelines and pressure-boosting facilities to ensure stable gas supply.

Peyman Khazraei, speaking at a ceremony honoring the outgoing and introducing the new manager of Operation Region 1, thanked employees for their efforts in successfully managing the winter of 1403."Last year’s cold season started earlier and lasted longer, but through coordinated planning and teamwork, gas delivery to consumers remained uninterrupted," he said.

He expressed hope that employees would support the new regional manager in achieving key goals, including improving maintenance systems, boosting productivity, ensuring satisfaction, and upholding administrative integrity.

Khazraei highlighted the start of pipeline and pressure-boosting facility maintenance programs, stressing the need for regular and timely upkeep to sustain gas transmission."We must be fully prepared for the upcoming cold season," he added.

Recognizing the five-year service of Abolfazl Zahiri, the former head of Operation Region 1, Khazraei introduced Touran Rostami as the new manager—the first local appointee to the role, promoted from within the operational team.
