Mehdi Zare stated that the strategy of Zone 8 is achieving full self-sufficiency, localization and sustainable development, adding: "By leveraging domestic capabilities and private sector participation, we are expanding production growth and self-sufficiency. This effort is made possible through self-confidence and valuing Iranian expertise and innovation."

He added: "Despite all challenges in 1403, we managed to create opportunities for growth and development within the organization. By achieving self-sufficiency in 16 essential items, we took significant steps toward self-reliance."

The director of Iran’s Gas Transmission Operation Zone 8 noted that the progress in localization and self-sufficiency continues toward sustainable and optimized natural gas transmission. With last year’s localized items included, the total number of domestically produced goods over the years has now reached 132.

Zare said: "I hope that with the momentum started years ago and accelerated recently, we can move further toward sustainable development and investment in production, maximizing domestic capacity."

He emphasized: "Self-sufficiency and localization not only bring pride to domestic manufacturers but also demonstrate Zone 8’s serious commitment to sustainable development and reducing import dependency."
