The gas supplied to power plants on Monday totaled 244 million cubic meters, reflecting a continued stable supply of clean fuel for electricity generation.

With the onset of warmer weather and a gradual rise in electricity consumption, the Ministry of Oil is working to ensure regular natural gas supply to power plants, avoiding the use of polluting liquid fuels. This not only helps reduce air pollution but also significantly cuts electricity production costs.

During colder months, gas deliveries to power plants typically decrease due to higher priority given to residential and commercial sectors. However, with the start of spring and lower household demand, gas supplies to power plants have now increased.
