Mousa Ahmadi, discussing the first meeting of the Energy Committee in the Iranian calendar year 1404, held Sunday evening, praised the committee's relations with energy-related ministers.
He said, "Last year's cooperation between the Energy Committee and relevant ministries helped prevent issues in household gas supply. With these strong ties, we aim to reach sound solutions for electricity and water challenges this summer with minimal disruptions."
He emphasized the need for close, collaborative oversight between the committee and ministries to resolve problems, remove obstacles and ensure quality public services. "Our primary concern as representatives and a specialized committee is to minimize people's difficulties," he added.
Referencing the year's slogan, Ahmadi noted, "A key focus of the Energy Committee is this year's theme of boosting production through investment. Our colleagues have shown strong support. There are clear opportunities for investment in upstream and downstream petrochemicals, oil and gas, and we certainly back private sector involvement. We will prioritize relevant programs in the committee's agenda."
