Paknejad: Investment opportunities in oil industry to be introduced

SHANA (Tehran) - Mohsen Paknejad, Iran’s oil minister, said Wednesday that crude oil production has increased by 50,000 barrels per day.

Speaking on the sidelines of a Cabinet meeting, he added:  "We plan to hold a conference within the next month to introduce investment opportunities, allowing investors to familiarize themselves with the economic indicators in this sector."

The oil minister noted that focusing on public investment is a positive approach, given the country’s significant potential in this area.

"Investment and return rates in the oil industry are highly promising," he said. "The upcoming conference will announce investment opportunities for private sector participation."
