Ali Chavoshani, emphasizing the importance of sustainable gas and byproduct production, stated that pursuing improvements in Process Safety Management (PSM) is one of the complex's key initiatives this year.
Highlighting plans to upgrade safety and firefighting equipment systems, he added that the procurement of 80 firefighting vehicles of various types and necessary ambulances for the refineries is underway.
The head of safety and firefighting at the South Pars Gas Complex reported that safety systems at the 13 South Pars refineries are being closely monitored. Chavoshani stressed that 100% of the equipment used in the safety system upgrades is domestically sourced. He added that the condition of the refineries' firefighting pumps is highly satisfactory, and since the beginning of the year, training programs have been conducted to enhance employees' knowledge in safety and firefighting.
Regarding plans to recruit specialized personnel in safety and firefighting, he said that in addition to upgrading equipment, firefighting vehicles have been prepared, and minor issues in this area have been addressed.
