Fereydoun Yasemi stated that Tehran Province's gasoline consumption is equivalent to that of 15 other provinces in the country.

The NIOPDC official commented on fuel consumption in Tehran Province, saying, "Fuel consumption in this province is alarmingly high, equivalent to the gasoline consumption of 15 provinces combined."

He noted that 10 to 12 percent of the country's fuel is consumed in Tehran Province, emphasizing that over 20 million liters of gasoline are used daily in the province.

The director of the NIOPDC in Tehran Province added, "We are fully prepared to meet fuel demand during the Nowruz holidays and face no issues in supplying fuel products."
