Hassan Mousavi noted that 617 mcm of gas were consumed by these sectors on Tuesday, February 4. He stated that 867 mcm of gas were delivered to the national grid that day.

Mousavi emphasized that gas consumption by the household, commercial, and small-scale industrial sectors accounted for 71% of the country’s total gas usage.

Following a cold spell and forecasts of further temperature drops, President Masoud Pezeshkian, Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad, and other officials urged the public to participate in the "2 Degrees Less" campaign. Through video and written messages, they called for optimal energy use and cooperation in ensuring winter fuel supply.
