Stable gas supply maintained during first week of winter

SHANA (Tehran) – The CEO of the Iran Gas Transmission Company (IGTC) announced that natural gas supply has remained stable during the first week of winter, with maximum operational efforts underway to address a gas leak at the Shahid Mostafavi gas pressure-boosting station.

Peyman Khazraei highlighted the company’s commitment to ensuring uninterrupted gas delivery to consumers, emphasizing the round-the-clock dedication of staff.

“Our employees are working tirelessly to maintain the stability of the gas transmission fleet, ensuring no disruptions occur,” he said.

During a visit to the Shahid Mostafavi gas pressure-boosting station and the Emergency Response Headquarters of Gas Transmission Region 1, Khazraei issued directives for resolving the gas leak.

He confirmed that after a gas leak was detected at the station’s output facilities in Khuzestan Province, the emergency response committee was immediately convened as operational teams were deployed to the site in the shortest possible time to address the issue.

Khazraei, who has been monitoring the situation and repair efforts, reported that no gas outages have occurred within the transmission network.

He credited swift and effective actions by operational staff for preventing any emergency situations, particularly during the critical winter season.

To expedite repairs and restore normal operations as quickly as possible, Khazraei directed the deployment of maximum operational resources.
