Iranian E&P companies fully developed in oil projects implementation

SHANA (Tehran) – The deputy minister of oil for research and technology stated that the efforts launched eight years ago to develop Iranian exploration and production (E&P) companies have now come to fruition, as he expressed hope for the active participation of capable Iranian companies in oil projects.

Speaking on Tuesday at the inauguration of the Well, Reservoir, and Facility Management (WRFM) center, Omid Shakeri said, “The pace of innovation in the oil industry is relatively slow, but we have technological spillovers from other sectors that can be directed toward the oil industry, leading to significant transformations.”

He emphasized the importance of sharing experiences as the industry moves forward, saying “Pasargad Energy Development Company can share its expertise with other E&P companies and the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), resulting in increased national wealth.”

The deputy minister underscored the Ministry of Oil’s support for domestic companies, adding, “If support and facilitation are needed, we will assist to ensure Iranian companies continue on their path to maturity, enabling their presence not only domestically but also on the international stage.”
