Ahmad Bahoush explained that domestic manufacturers have always proven to be alongside the South Pars Gas Complex, and now the managers of the complex consider utilizing the capabilities and capacities of knowledge-based companies and domestic manufacturers as their top priority.
He continued: “The South Pars Gas Complex now collaborates with more than 100 knowledge-based companies and 200 manufacturing companies as well as the first-time production companies in the fields of commerce and research to supply critical parts and equipment for its processing plants.”
The CEO of the South Pars Gas Complex said that some of these companies operate in a consortium format with which the complex has contracts in various fields, and also has direct cooperation with science and technology parks that include several groups and hopes to pursue this process more extensively in the second half of this year.
Bahoush added: “Benefiting from the capabilities and capacities of Iranian companies and manufacturers has played a significant role in carrying out this year’s major maintenance operations and has managed to enhance the quality of major repairs in the 13 gas processing of the company.”
According to him, based on the actions taken, the company has managed to fully localize the technical knowledge of turbo expanders and cold boxes in the rotating equipment section, know-how which was previously held by 4 to 5 companies from Japan, the USA, China, and a few European countries.
The CEO of the South Pars Gas Complex stated: “Currently, more than 95% of the necessary and strategic parts and equipment for all processing plants in the South Pars Complex have been localized, and we expect this capability to reach 100% this year with the cooperation of domestic manufacturers.”
