In his decree, the minister of petroleum announced: Considering your commitment, valuable experiences, and background, you are appointed as the Acting Head of the International Affairs and Commerce Department of the Petroleum Ministry. With the help of the Almighty God, you are expected to actively pursue dynamic diplomacy, effective communication with stakeholders in commerce, and the enhancement of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s credibility in global forums and relevant international organizations.
Mousavi, born in 1967, is a veteran and war-wounded of the Iran-Iraq war (1980-1988), which is also known as Sacred Defense in Iran. He holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and a Ph.D. in Strategic Management.
In a separate message, the Minister of Petroleum thanked Ahmad Asadzadeh who was in charge of the post until now.
