Mohammad Rezavanifar said Iran’s foreign trade in the yearlong period hit $153.17 billion – exports including oil, electricity, technical and engineering services, and carry-on luggage trade valued at $86.89 billion and imports worth $66.28 billion – showing a 2.6 percent increase from its preceding year.
According to the official, liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquid propane, and bitumen were the main products exported, bringing in $3.9 billion, $3.62 billion, and $2.19 billion respectively.
Rezavanifar, who is also the deputy economy minister, referred to China as the major exporter of Iranian products with $13.915 billion worth of goods, followed by Iraq with $9.215 billion, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with over $6.611 billion, Turkey with $4.16 billion, and India with $2.173 billion.
