Chegeni: About 98% of NIGC needs met by Iranian producers

SHANA (Mashhad) – The National Iranian Gas Company managing director said domestic manufacturers are now meeting about 98 of NIGC’s needs.

Speaking on the sidelines of an exhibition dubbed the “Narrative of Progress” in the northeastern city of Mashhad on Thursday, Majid Chegeni added NIGC prides itself on supporting the country’s knowledge-based companies, inventors, and innovators.

The exhibition has displayed the great Iranian nation’s power achieved through round-the-clock efforts, he underlined.

Great achievements have been made in the oil and gas industry, the CEO of NIGC continued, pointing to self-reliance in all aspects.

Different ministries including the Oil Ministry and its affiliates – the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC), and the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), the Health and Medical Treatment Organization – have displayed their latest achievements in the exhibition.

In the meantime, Economy Minister Seyyed Ehsan Khandouzi visited the second “Narrative of Progress”.

The first edition was held in Qom, central Iran, and the second expo started in Mashhad on Wednesday and will run through Saturday.
