The Leader paid a visit to an exhibition showcasing Iran’s homegrown products and knowledge-based companies’ capabilities in 40 booths at the Imam Khomeini Husseiniyeh in Tehran.
Increase in oil and gas output, investments, first-time production and support for knowledge-based firms, development of the oil industry’s upstream sector through big petrochemical holdings’ support, completion of the oil industry’s value chain, export of technical and engineering services, revival of dead and low-producing wells, and collection of flare gases in collaboration with knowledge-based companies were among the main issues explained by the minister.
Knowledge-based companies displayed their latest achievements and products in the energy, oil, and petrochemical industries; auto industry; mining metal industries; communication and information technology as well as satellite manufacturing; food and agricultural industries; medical equipment; handicrafts; air, maritime, rail, and land transport; textile industries; housing; and home appliances.
The expertise of knowledge-based companies in designing and manufacturing equipment for oil well drilling, petrochemical industry, and catalysts, and their capabilities in the electricity and power plant sectors were also exhibited.
