The cooperation documents were signed in the presence of Iranian President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi and Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.

Based on the documents, Tehran and Ashgabat will promote their cooperation in electricity swap, diplomacy and customs, and higher education.
