Southern Azadegan Oil Output up 45,000 b/d

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The CEO of Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC), while explaining the actions taken by this company in the South Azadegan field, announced the increase in daily production of crude oil by 45,000 barrels/day over the past year.

According to PEDEC, Abuzar Sharifi, during his visit to the 13th Ahvaz Oil Exhibition, said: “With the launch of 36 wells in the South Azadegan field, the daily production capacity of this joint field increased to 45,000 barrels per day.”

With the execution of 120 km in the pipelines section and 25 km in the oil transfer pipelines section, the mechanical completion of 5 manifolds, as well as the start of operation of 2 manifolds in the past year, the development of this field has accelerated and in the near future, the goals of the development plan of the first phase of the South Azadegan oil field will be realized, he said.

The PEDEC CEO announced that the main challenge in the development of the field was the provision of the required basic goods, and added: “With a lot of follow-up, this company has managed to supply 200 km of pipes, which is one of the most important events in this sector.”
