NISOC inks MoU with Basra Oil Company

TEHRAN (Shana) – National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) signed a memorandum of cooperation on the sidelines of the 13th Khuzestan Oil Industry Equipment Manufacturing Exhibition with Basra Oil Company (BOC).

According to NISOC, Alireza Daneshi, NISOC CEO, said in the ceremony of signing the memorandum of understanding between NISOC and the Basra Oil Company (BOC) on the sidelines of the 13th Khuzestan Oil Exhibition: “This document paves the way for enhancing cooperation between Iran and Iraq in the field of oil and it is a good opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the two countries.”

He stated: “We are all on the same front and together and this unity and sympathy will have a positive effect on the resistance front.”

The memorandum with the Iraqi company was signed due to the identification of the existing capacities in the two countries.

The NISOC CEO stated: “Our goal is to create a synergy to recognize the capacities and we hope that a working group will be formed in this field in order to advance matters as great as possible.”

The 13th Khuzestan Oil Industry Equipment Manufacturing Exhibition was held from 6th to 9th of February at the permanent location of Khuzestan International Exhibition in Ahvaz in the presence of 271 manufacturers, producers and knowledge-based companies.

The event sparked a lot of attention among professionals, experts, scholars, students and enthusiasts.
