Muslem Rahmani said on Saturday that the annual consumption of natural gas in the country is more than 228 billion cubic meters, 70% of which is in the industrial sector and 30% in the domestic sector, adding that this ratio is the opposite in winter, and 70% of the gas is consumed by household, commercial and non-major industrial sectors, and even this amount has reached 80%.
He said one of indicators of progress in the world is energy distribution in a country, adding: “Iran is also one of the rich countries in terms of gas energy due to the presence of very rich reserves in the South Pars region and other regions, which has caused great measures to be taken in this field.”
