According to IRNA, Javad Owji told reporters today (Wednesday, January 18) on the sidelines of the meeting of the government cabinet: “In these days, one of the good achievements in the country's oil and gas industry was made, which is the highest figure of gas production from independent and joint fields.”

He added: “During this period, we processed gas in 21 refineries, which was a unique record.”

The Minister of Petroleum pointed to the transmission of gas from the south of the country to the central and northern regions to supply gas to the northern and northeastern provinces.
