5% Rise in South Pars Gas Output

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The CEO of South Pars Gas Complex said over the past 23 days since December 22, more than 15 billion cubic meters of gas has been injected into the national distribution network by this complex, which is a 5% increase compared to the same period last year.

Ahmed Bahoush told Shana: “At the same time as the cold snap enters the country and the increase in household gas consumption, the hardworking specialists and employees of the South Pars Gas Complex are active around the clock in all refinery units to supply the gas needed by people all over the country.”

He stated: “From the beginning of this winter season (December 22) to January 15, more than 15 billion cubic meters of gas was injected into the national pipeline, which is more than 5% more than the same period last year.”

The CEO of South Pars Gas Complex stated: “This volume of production and injection into the national line shows the firm determination of the experts and employees of the complex for the sake of peace and comfort.”
