Iran Breaks Oil, Petchem Export

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The Iranian Minister of Petroleum announced smashing the record of Iran's export of crude oil, gas condensate and petrochemicals in the month of Aban (October 23-November 21) since at least 2018.

Addressing the joint morning ceremony of the Basijis of the oil industry on Tuesday, Javad Owji said: “I thank God for allowing me to be present today in the gathering of unassuming Basij members of the oil industry.”

Saluting the pure soul of Imam Khomeini (RA) because of the innovative work of organizing the Basij Mustafafin Organization after the Islamic Revolution, he said: “This was well formed with the aim of making maximum use of the people's capacity to advance the goals of the establishment. As you know, in the eight-year imposed war, the strong presence of different strata of people in the form of this mobilization made the enemy unable to capture a single step of the country's soil.”

The Minister of Petroleum added: “After the revolution and the imposed war, Basiji thinking was still playing a role in Iran and it flourished in all fields. Today, this thinking has spread among free countries as well.”

Stating that the approach of using people's capacity and Basiji thinking in the 13th administration to overcome the hatred and sanctions of Iran's enemies is on the agenda, Owji said: “Since the beginning of this administration, the country has faced problems such as winter fuel supply, lack of liquid fuel in power plants, lack of overhauls in some oil and gas refineries and the intensification of international sanctions and, most importantly, the sale and export of oil, gas condensate and petrochemical products, which have been overcome by relying on Basiji thinking.”
