NIGC at Forefront of Economic War: CEO

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The deputy minister of petroleum for gas affairs emphasized the all-round preparation of the country's refineries for stable gas production in the cold season, announcing that the oil industry and National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) are at the forefront of the economic war.

Majid Chegeni visited gas processing plants in Assaluyeh, southern Iran together with members of the board of directors of NIGC, the director of production coordination and supervision of this company, and the new members of the board of directors of South Pars Gas Complex.

In a meeting with the CEOs of South Pars, Parsian, and Fajr Jam refineries, he emphasized that the issues and problems of the employees and specialists of these refineries would be followed up until the final and desired result is achieved.

"We are proud to be among you, the frontline employees of the country's economic front," he said.

Emphasizing the all-round support of the efficient and experienced workforce of the South Pars Gas Complex, the deputy oil minister for gas affairs added: "The greatest worship is to serve the people of the society, and you hardworking employees who serve and operate in the most strategic pole of the country's economy, be sure that all these moments your service is worship.”

Chegeni emphasized: “The oil industry and especially NIGC are now on the front line of the economic war, and you, the well-known soldiers of the South Pars Gas Complex, are on the front line of this fierce battle, and considering the difficulties and hardships, thanks to God, you brave men in the field of service will be victorious in this field.”

He continued: "The enemy is always planning a new design with all its might and with cruel sanctions, which has harmed the country in the economic field, but until now, with the tact, vigilance and outstanding actions of the valuable experts and employees, the enemy's hope have been disappointed and, by the grace of God, it will be the same in the future.”
