According to Shahid Tandgouyan Petrochemical Company, Amin Malekzadeh said the plant’s output stood at 1.125 million tons last calendar year which was a new record by its own and plans are under way to smash the record this year.

He also said that based on the company’s planning, production and commercialization of 7 other new items are under way in the company.

The official said that from the beginning of this calendar year to November, 756,000 tons of products were produced in this petrochemical plant, which is an increase of about 55,000 tons compared to the same period last year, and stated: “It is expected that with the continuation of the current status, until the end of 1401, the historical record of production of more than 1.290 million tons should be registered.”

He went on to add that until 2015 only 54% of the plant’s nameplate capacity was used while in the calendar year of 1401 production reached 76% of the installed capacity, up 5.5% from last calendar year.
