2,000 bcm of Gas Processed in South Pars Refineries

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The CEO of South Pars Gas Complex announced that since the establishment of the complex, more than 2,300 billion cubic meters of natural gas have been processed in South Pars refineries.

According to National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), Ahmad Bahoush said in a joint meeting with the CEOs of Pars Special Energy Economic Zone Organization and Pars Oil and Gas Company, which was held on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the establishment of the South Pars Gas Complex, that the capacity of both companies South Pars Gas Complex and Pars Oil and Gas Company, under the leadership of the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone Organization has expanded.

He added: “Last year, with significant measures, innovative actions and local knowledge of the managers and employees of the complex, more than 185 billion cubic meters of sweet gas was injected into the country's national lines, and “we hope that this year will increase significantly with successful overhaul operations in the complex's refineries.”

The CEO of South Pars Gas Complex stated that the main mission of this complex is to create maximum value from the gas resources of the region, and stated: “The hardworking and expert employees of the complex, by adhering to the organizational values, took great steps in line with this issue and with responsibility in the economic and social fields and environment, with brilliant and valuable achievements, have paid attention to the empowerment of human capital and youth employment, and with self-belief and self-reliance, have been pioneers in sustainable gas production and have committed themselves to sustainable production from the resources.”
