Deputy Petroleum Minister meets with Belarusian Envoy

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The deputy Petroleum Minister for International Affairs and Trade had a meeting with the ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in the Islamic Republic of Iran with the aim of expanding the level of cooperation.

Ahmad Asadzadeh met with Dmitry Koltsov on Monday to discuss the development of the level of cooperation and the future prospects for cooperation in the oil and petrochemical sectors.

According to the agreements made in this meeting, it was decided that Vladimir Sizov, the deputy of the state oil company Belneftekhim, will soon travel to Tehran to talk with his Iranian counterpart.

Vladimir Makei, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, at the head of a delegation consisting of the Ministry of Roads and the Bank, in line with the recent agreements between President Ebrahim Raisi and Alexander Lukashenko, Presidents of the Republic of Belarus, will visit Iran on the sidelines of the 2022 Shanghai Summit in Samarkand from October 2 to 5.
