Javad Owji told reporters on Sunday, after the completion of the exploitation ceremony and the beginning of the executive operations of 6096 gas supply projects in the week of the government: “With the initiative of our colleagues in the National Iranian Oil Company, who are seriously working now, we promise that the first phase of gas production from South Pars Phase 11 development project, which was exchanged only on paper between different domestic and foreign contractors for 20 years, will start this winter.”

He stated that it is expected that 10 to 11 million cubic meters of gas will be produced in the first phase of the South Pars Phase 11 development project on a daily basis, adding that this amount of gas will be injected to the country's gas supply network and the people will benefit from that blessing.
