Iran Raises August Crude Price for Asian Buyers

TEHRAN (Shana) – The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) has increased the official selling price of all types of crude oil for export to Asian customers in August.

The international affairs department of the National Iranian Oil Company has set the price of light crude oil, heavy crude oil, and Forozan blend crude oil for delivery in August at $8.90, $5.60, and $5.65, respectively, higher than the average price of Oman/Dubai crude.

The price per barrel of Iranian light crude oil for delivery in August is $8.9 dollars, Iranian heavy crude oil is $5.6, and the price of Forozan blend crude oil is $5.56 higher than in July prices.

Iran Raises August Crude Price for Asian Buyers

The average price of Oman/Dubai crude oil is the base price of crude oil in West Asia.

Iran has set the official selling price of light crude oil in the northwest European market $3.30 higher than Brent, and the price of heavy and Forozan blend crude oil in this market is $1.25 and $1.15 lower than Brent, respectively.

The Saudi Aramco company had previously announced that it has increased the official selling price of its light crude oil for supply to Asian customers in August.
