According to NIDC, Massoud Afshar, Deputy Managing Director of the company in drilling operations, said on Sunday: “Of these wells, two were development wells, one an exploratory well and 14 complementary wells.”
He added 14 of these wells were in the operational scope of the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC), two in the fields operated by the Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) and one was ordered by the exploration department of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).
The Deputy CEO of the National Drilling Company stated that during this period, 16,967 meters were drilled by the company, adding that 16 drilling rigs are currently being moved to the operational areas.
