South Pars Phase 11 Gas Output to hit 12mcm by Winter

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The CEO of Pars Oil and Gas Company announced production of 12 million cubic meters/day of gas from South Pars Phase 11 by winter.

In an interview with Shana, Mohammad Meshkinfam talked about the increase in production of the South Pars joint field in the calendar year of 1401 which began on March 21, saying: “According to the gas production plan of this field, this year, output will increase by 40 million cubic meters per day.”

He also touched on the latest condition of the South Pars refinery phase 14: “One train of the refinery of this phase entered the production circuit late last calendar year and the other three trains will be operational this year.”

The CEO of Pars Oil and Gas Company also talked about Farzad gas field: "Development plans for this field are being pursued, the details of which will be announced after finalization."

Farzad "B" joint gas field is located in the Persian block on the Iran-Saudi border and at a distance of about 20 km from the Persian Gulf coasts. According to the Pars Oil and Gas Company, the amount of in-situ gas of the field is estimated at 23,000 billion cubic feet. Its gas condensate is estimated at about 5,000 barrels per billion cubic feet of gas.
