Iran to Establish a Science Hub in Khuzestan Province

TEHRAN (Shana) – The CEO of the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) on Sunday announced that a science hub will be established in Khuzestan Province.

Speaking at a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the NISOC and Khuzestan Science and Technology Park, Alireza Daneshi expressed hope to take effective measures in operation and university sectors of Khuzestan Province, with the help of its capable human resources.

Being signed on the sidelines of the third day of the 26th International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition, dubbed Iran Oil Show, the MoU is expected to help take fruitful steps toward bright achievements.

It is projected to prepare investment packages through this cooperation in order to create added value and job opportunities to serve the country, Daneshi said.

Meanwhile, the head of Khuzestan Science and Technology Park, Mohammad Razi Jalali, referred to this year’s slogan, saying it is a mission for all of us and we are taking an effective stride to fulfill the slogan.

The MoU is an opportunity to achieve knowledge-based cooperation aiming to create the added value through harmony and synergy, he added.

The 26th International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition, also called Iran Oil Show, kicked off on Friday (May 13) and will run to Monday (May 16).
