Javad Owji met with Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel during his visit to Latin America last week.

During his visit to Latin America, the Minister of Petroleum also discussed with Vice President of the Council of Ministers of Cuba Ricardo Cabrisas Ruíz, as well as the ministers of oil and energy of Cuba and explored avenues for cooperation between the two countries in the field of energy.
