Javad Owji last week on a trip to Latin America, including Venezuela and Nicaragua in conjunction with the activation of energy diplomacy, had numerous meetings with officials of these countries, during which memorandums and agreements were signed.
He left Iran early last week for South and Central America.
During these trips, he had various talks with the leaders and officials of countries such as Venezuela and Nicaragua.
The Iranian Minister of Petroleum met with Nicolas Maduro, Venezuelan President, and Minister of Oil, Foreign Affairs, CEO of the Venezuelan National Oil Company, and other senior officials.
During his visit to Nicaragua, Owji also met with President Daniel Ortega and the country’s Parliament Speaker.
Meetings with the Ministers of the Ministries of Energy and Mines, Industry and Commerce, Finance and Public Credit and Agriculture of Nicaragua were among the other high-level plans of Mr. Owji to discuss joint fields of energy and agriculture.
Owji also visited some oil facilities in South and Central America.
