According to the National Iranian Gas Company, Majid Chegeni, on the sidelines of a visit to the Shahid Bagheri Complex in District 4 of Gas Transfer Operation, referring to the successful and safe passage of peak consumption days in the winter and the President's appreciation for sincere activities in the country , said: “Setting new records in the gas transmission sector along with winter fuel management, despite the challenges and extensive restrictions, is a symbol of the jihadist efforts of the anonymous soldiers of this sector to serve their compatriots in all parts of Islamic Iran.”

He added: "With planning, management, awareness and round-the-clock efforts of the employees of the Iranian Gas Transmission Company in different sectors, we proudly overcame the challenges of the winter and were able to increase the amount of gas transmission by 2.8% in the calendar year of 1400 year-on-year.”

Deputy Minister of Petroleum for Gas Affairs continued: “The amount of gas injected into the country's gas distribution network from storage tanks this winter was approximately equal to the preceding calendar year at 2.5 billion cubic meters, but due to the special conditions of the northeastern network, the amount of gas withdrawn from The Shurijeh reservoir was 154 million cubic meters more, and this issue and the Turkmen gas swap to Azerbaijan were among the influential factors in the management of the northeastern network in the winter.”
