Owji Tweets on Oil Industry Investment

TEHRAN (Shana) – Iranian Minister of Petroleum Javad Owji announced in a post on his Twitter account that more than 45 contracts and memorandums worth $15.6 billion have been signed in the first six months of the Raisi administration.

On Monday, Javad Owji wrote in his latest Twitter post:

"Thanks to God Almighty, in the first six months of the People's Administration, the Ministry of Petroleum concluded 45 contracts and memoranda of understanding with $15.6 billion in investment in oil and gas fields, collection of associated petroleum gas, construction of pipelines for transfer of petroleum products, renovation of refineries and underground gas storage.”

"The Ministry of Petroleum has not been kept by the outcome of the Vienna Agreement for the past six months, and 'development and investment' is a priority for the ministry."
