Mohsen Khojastehmehr told a meeting in the presence of Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi in the vicinities of Ministry of Petroleum on Wednesday: “This winter, at a maximum consumption of the domestic, commercial, industrial and power plants, about 940 million cubic meters of gas will be produced from the land and sea sectors.”

He added: "Of this amount, 700 million cubic meters of gas will be through 37 offshore platforms in the Persian Gulf and the South Pars gas field, which accounts for 70% of the country's gas output."

The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company emphasized on providing safe fuel in the cold months of this year: “In this winter, we will have maximum gas production and in cases where we need, liquid fuel will be used if necessary.”
