Speaking exclusively to Shana, Jalil Salari, who is also the CEO of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) said development of refining industries with the completion of several important refinery projects, commissioning petro-refining units and construction of at least two new refining units are among the plans of the NIORDC under the Raisi administration.

At the beginning of the conversation, he said that the limiting obstacles to the development of the refining industry are related to the legal status of the industry, and said: "If we consider the legal challenges, one part is that we should pay special attention to the competence in the type of transfer and the method of transfer of refining companies, and the second is that from a regulatory (supervisory) perspective, performance monitoring in this area is needed."
