Preparing for Big Jobs

He added: "If we divide the activities into three categories of completed works, semi-finished works and unfinished works, we must be prepared to complete the abandoned work and implement the unstarted actions by understanding the existing realities and increasing the forces."

Maximizing wealth production

The Deputy Minister of Petroleum, stating that the sovereignty of the National Iranian Oil Company requires the government and the Ministry of Petroleum, on behalf of the Islamic establishment, to be honest trustees for the people, pointed to the volume of oil and gas reserves, and said Iran's crude oil, gas, liquids and gas condensate is equivalent to 1,000 billion barrels of crude oil, which, taking into account the existing recovery factor, up to 340 billion barrels can be extracted.

Khojastehmehr said: "Our main task in the National Iranian Oil Company is to produce hydrocarbons from these reserves in such a manner that maximizes production of wealth for the country."
