According to President.ir, Dr. Hassan Rouhani said on Monday at the opening ceremony of the National Plans of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Support: "Today, the Islamic Republic of Iran is a power that guarantees security for itself and its neighbors."

He added: "Despite the most severe sanctions and economic war in the last three and a half years, the administration and people of Iran have stood firm and the administration has supported its armed forces and met their needs despite the doubling of pressures due to the spread of the coronavirus."

The President stated: “The 11th and 12th administrations have carried out important activities in the field of Makran coasts and the needs of this beach, including the Jask port, which has become a very important port for today and in the coming years, as well as Chabahar and the development of this region.”
