According to Petropars, Hamidreza Masoudi said this contract was signed in the form of EPDS and includes engineering services, procurement, drilling services and completion of 10 new wells within 16 months.
He stated that the contract entails drilling 9 production wells and a well for discharging effluent, adding: “The contractor for the project was selected through a tender and competition with other competent contractors.”
The drillers in the project are estimated to drill 40 kilometers of wells, Masoudi added, noting that once operational, the wells are expected to add 10,000 barrels per day to the field’s daily crude oil production capacity.
