According to President.ir, Dr. Hassan Rouhani today (Monday, May 24) in a telephone conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping, referred to the strategic position and long-term vision of the Islamic Republic of Iran to strengthen comprehensive partnership with China as one of the global powers, regardless of international developments, and stressed on the acceleration of implementation of the provisions of the agreements between the two countries.

Voicing Iran's readiness to promote economic cooperation with China in the West Asian region, he said that the development of this cooperation will further strengthen relations between the two countries, especially in economic and trade fields, including increasing Iran's oil and non-oil exports to China and facilitating Chinese companies’ presence in Iran.
