Euro-5 Petrol Output of Persian Gulf Star Refinery Hits 47ml/d

TEHRAN (Shana) -- The CEO of the Persian Gulf Star Oil Company announced the daily production of roughly 47 million liters of petrol whose quality exceeds the Euro-5 standard.

According to the Persian Gulf Star Oil Company, Mohammad Ali Dadvar considered the daily production of about 47 million liters of clean gasoline with a higher standard than the Euro-5 standard as the main sign of the refinery's concern for environmental protection, and said: "Our main mission is to produce fuel to ensure security in the country's energy mix, however, we always pay attention to environmental requirements because sustainable development depends on attention to environmental issues.”

He also announced planting of a thousand tecomella trees in order to protect this endangered plant species, and added: “Persian Gulf Star Refinery, by implementing new systems in green space management, protection of soil resources, protection of water resources, management of energy consumption and attention to culture, has become a leading industry in environmental protection.”
