According to Pars Oil and Gas Company, Mohammad Meshkinfam said preparation of four liquefied gas tanks, including two propane tanks and two butane tanks of the refinery of South Pars phases 22 to 24, was the result of special coordination between the executive contractor, the main contractor and the project employer.

He said: "With the follow-ups done in resolving financial issues and supplying the required goods, the propane and butane tanks, the commissioning of which was scheduled for the end of this [calendar] year, was concluded earlier than planned and we saw the entry of gas into these two tanks."

He said after the cooling stage, the loading of the propane tank with a capacity of 45,000 cubic meters and the butane tank with a capacity of 35,000 cubic meters would begin, adding these two tanks were launched with a total loading capacity of 80,000 cubic meters of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

The CEO of Pars Oil and Gas Company added that construction of the remaining two liquefied gas tanks of phases 22 to 24 has been completed and are waiting to receive the required propane and butane pumps. Once completed, the total capacity of LPG in this project will reach 160,000 cubic meters by the end of the current Iranian calendar year to March 20.
